At Creta Maris Resort, our farming program connects on-site food production with gastronomy through organic regenerative practices. The program combines seasonal cultivation, drip irrigation and on-site composting with training and communication activities that explain the practices used in our gardens. Seasonal produce from our resort gardens is used in our restaurants and bars, introducing guests to Cretan produce and cuisine.

Our practices derive from the regenerative agriculture practices, such as the optimal management of natural resources, including water, energy, and raw food materials, while promoting soil health and effective organic waste management.

360 approach

We have adopted a comprehensive 360-degree approach based on four key pillars.

Organic Regenerative Agricultural Practices Own Food Production and Cultivation Benefits to Water, Energy and Soil Training & Communication
